At the edge of Archway Commons and just outside the Biblioplex stands Firejolt Café, a warm and bustling establishment favoured by students across all colleges. Its interior is always filled with the scent of roasted beans, enchanted spices, and lightly singed sugar, a byproduct of its most famous creation: the Firejolt brew.
The café is operated by Ellina Tanglewood, an elven mage who uses carefully controlled fire magic to enhance brewing precision and flavour consistency. Her methods are unconventional but highly effective, earning the café a loyal following among students who rely on both caffeine and convenience during intense study periods.
Firejolt serves as an informal academic hub, especially during exam seasons. Tables are often crowded with stacked books, floating notes, and half-finished spell diagrams. Though especially popular with first-years, the café remains a constant presence in student life from enrolment to graduation.
