Description

The Live-Action Roleplaying Society offers students the opportunity to immerse themselves in collaborative storytelling, taking on characters and enacting adventures within designated areas of the Academy. What begins as structured play often evolves into elaborate, ongoing narratives shaped by the choices of its participants.
Costumes, props, and minor magical effects are commonly used to enhance the experience, with some members crafting entire personas complete with backstories and motivations. While the society operates within agreed boundaries, the line between game and reality can occasionally blur—particularly when magic is involved.
The society is as much about creativity and performance as it is about camaraderie, providing a space where imagination can run wild.

Membership

Students may join the Live-Action Roleplaying Society by signing up during the Freshers Fair or at any time upon request.
Members are free to participate at their own level of involvement, from casual one-off sessions to deeply invested long-term campaigns. New players are guided through the basics, while experienced members often take on roles as organisers or storytellers.
The society thrives on collaboration, with every participant contributing to the evolving narrative.
