Description

The Fantastical Horticulture Club is dedicated to the cultivation and study of magical plants, ranging from the beautiful and beneficial to the volatile and dangerous. Members maintain gardens across the Academy, each containing a diverse array of enchanted flora with unique properties and behaviours.
Students learn not only how to grow these plants, but how to safely handle, harvest, and utilise them in potions, rituals, and other magical applications. Some specimens require careful negotiation or specific environmental conditions, making their care as much an art as a science.
The Club’s gardens are both a place of study and a sanctuary, though one must always remain cautious—some plants are known to bite back.

Membership

Students may join the Fantastical Horticulture Club by signing up during the Freshers Fair or at any time upon request.
Members are trained in basic horticultural techniques before being entrusted with more complex or hazardous plants. Experienced students may take responsibility for specific garden sections or rare specimens.
Participation can range from casual gardening sessions to intensive study of plant-based magic, depending on each member’s interests.
