At the very heart of Neverwood stands the Biblioplex, the academy’s vast central library and the symbolic centre of scholarly pursuit. Rising from its core is a luminous snarl, a contained knot of magical energy that pulses like a miniature sun within the grand Hall of Oracles. Above the structure, the Dawnbow arcs across the sky, marking the Biblioplex as the focal point of academic enlightenment.
The interior of the library is immense and labyrinthine. Towering shelves stretch into vaulted ceilings, interwoven with suspended walkways, archive chambers, and reading galleries. Some sections are so large they generate their own microclimates, complete with drifting clouds or gentle rainfall contained within protective enchantments. Boats are used to navigate certain submerged archive corridors, where rare tomes are stored in water-resistant vaults.
Radiating outward from the Biblioplex are the Torches of Enlightenment, five vast beacon-lines that extend across the continent toward each of the academy’s colleges. These perpetual magical flames serve both as navigational markers and as symbols of intellectual pursuit, visible for miles across the surrounding countryside. The Biblioplex is not merely a library—it is the beating heart of Neverwood’s entire magical ecosystem.
