Biography

Orestes Alaris was a larger-than-life figure even by Neverwood standards. A Lorehold student with a barbarian’s strength and a scholar’s curiosity, he was fascinated by the legendary adventurers of the Blood Age and dreamed of living up to their exploits. Whether competing in Mage Tower or delving into ancient ruins, Orestes threw himself wholeheartedly into every challenge, often insisting on taking the lead.

Charismatic and boisterous, he loved a good story and an even better joke, and he believed that the best victories were shared ones. However, his drive to achieve greatness sometimes put him at odds with those closest to him. Though deeply loyal to his friends, Orestes could be stubborn and forceful when he thought he knew the right path forward.

After graduation, he remained closely tied to The Tall Tale, splitting his time between its upkeep and his continuing fascination with the forgotten catacombs beneath Neverwood. His legacy is one of adventure, ambition, and the complicated bonds of friendship.
