Description

The Performing Arts Society is dedicated to the art of theatre, bringing stories to life through performance, staging, and magical enhancement. Productions range from classic works to original student-written plays, often incorporating illusion magic and elaborate set design.
The society is a collaborative space, with members contributing both onstage and behind the scenes. Actors, directors, writers, and designers work together to create immersive experiences that captivate audiences across the Academy.
Performances are a highlight of the social calendar, drawing large crowds and often leaving a lasting impression.

Membership

Students may join the Performing Arts Society by signing up during the Freshers Fair or at any time upon request.
All aspects of theatre are open to members, from acting and directing to set construction and magical effects. New members are encouraged to explore different roles before specialising.
Those with strong commitment and talent may take on leading roles in major productions.
