The Lorehold Campus is a place where the past is not merely studied, but actively unearthed, reconstructed, and sometimes reawakened. Built around the immense chasm of Pillardrop, the campus is a layered environment of excavated ruins, reinforced structures, and active dig sites that blur the boundary between history and the present.
Stonework dominates the landscape, with ancient walls and partially restored buildings standing alongside newer constructions designed to stabilise the terrain. Effigy Row and Kollema Hall serve as focal points, while countless smaller sites—collapsed chambers, buried archives, and half-revealed monuments—offer ongoing opportunities for discovery.
Students here are rarely confined to traditional classrooms. Instead, much of their learning takes place in the field, where they catalogue artefacts, reconstruct historical narratives, and interact directly with magical remnants of past civilisations. It is not uncommon for a routine excavation to uncover something unexpected, from sentient relics to unstable magical echoes.
The campus carries an atmosphere of quiet intensity. Every stone feels significant, every structure layered with meaning. For Lorehold students, the past is not distant—it is immediate, tangible, and occasionally dangerous.
