Biography

Kianne is an elf and one of the foremost scholars of mana in the world. A neutral Quandrix professor of substance, she is brilliant, eccentric, and utterly fascinated by the patterns that govern the material and magical realms. From studying star arches to ancient shrines and chaotic snarls, she has seen phenomena few others could imagine — and she delights in sharing her discoveries with anyone who will listen.

Kianne believes mathematics is the language of nature itself, and she emphasises practical magic that can improve daily life through careful calculation and application. Her office is filled with curious devices, floating number-crystals, and scribbled formulae, all evidence of her restless mind. Though she enjoys debate, she has little patience for flights of fancy, frequently rolling her eyes at her colleague Dean Imbraham’s more abstract theories, insisting they are “detached from reality.”
