Summary
After the chaos of recent weeks — suspensions, detentions, and the fallout from the Chasey Lane incident — life at Neverwood Academy slowed down. The students took advantage of the lull to catch up on studies, relax, and try (mostly) to stay out of trouble.
Session Events
- The morning began quietly. Lyra stayed in her dorm room, catching up on notes and coursework, while the rest of the party headed to the Biblioplex.
- Harry and Vigilius spent time researching cyphers and coded spells, hoping to help Harry decipher the mysterious spellbook gifted to him by Professor Delta, The Silent Equation.
- Glue stopped by to chat with Isabrough about their date before grabbing breakfast at Whalebucks.
- At Whalebucks, Glue met a new transfer student named Marionette. The two struck up an odd but friendly conversation that took a turn when Glue asked her to sign over her bones after death. Marionette, understandably cautious, said she’d need time to think about it.
- Deciding to do something fun, Glue invited Marionette to join the group for a swim. She agreed, and Glue brought her over to meet the rest of the party.
- The students made their way to The Dramarium on Silverquill Campus, only to realise they’d forgotten to grab swimwear from their dorms.
- With the pool building empty, Harry cast Alarm and secured the door before everyone (except Lyra) stripped down to varying degrees of undress and jumped into the water.
- The group took turns showing off, diving, and splashing around, enjoying a rare moment of peace and laughter amidst the usual chaos of academy life.
- Lyra, however, remained poolside — lounging on a chair and quietly studying the strange sigil that had recently appeared on her arm, its meaning still unknown.
Ongoing Threads
- Lyra’s mysterious sigil — what is it, and why did it appear?
- Harry’s encoded spellbook from Professor Delta remains unsolved.
- The date between Glue and Isabrough went well, what's next?
- The new student, Marionette, has joined the story — but what brought her to Neverwood Academy?
